President George W. Bush holds the hand of Peggy Hubbard, mother of the Hubbard brothers, after signing H.R. 6580, The Hubbard Act, Aug. 29, 2008, in the Oval Office of the White House. The Hubbard Act is named in honor of brothers Jared and Nathan Hubbard , who lost their lives serving our country in Iraq. Their brother, Jason Hubbard was discharged from the Army as a sole survivor but was denied separation benefits. H.R. 6580 will provide sole survivors a number of benefits already offered to other soldiers honorably discharged from military service. White House photo by Chris Greenberg
