President George W. Bush begins participation in meeting with the President Festus Magae of Botswana in Gaborone, Botswana, Thursday, July 10, 2003. “We're thrilled to be here. You have been a very strong leader,” said President Bush during their joint press conference. “First, I want to commend you for your leadership. I appreciate your commitment to democracy and freedom, to rule of law and transparency. I want to congratulate you for serving your country so very well.”
