Statement by the Press Secretary
Visit of President Nicanor Duarte of Paraguay

The President has invited President Duarte of Paraguay to meet with him at the White House on September 26. Paraguay is a close ally of the United States in the war against terror. This will be an opportunity for the two leaders to discuss the important bilateral partnership and ways to work together to advance economic growth and prosperity, and promote peace, freedom, and stability.
