Public Events Calendar

Tours of the White House have been opened to school groups. School groups are defined as students in grades 4 through 12 and who are enrolled in the same school or school district. School group requests may be submitted through one's Member of Congress. These self-guided school group tours will be scheduled from 7:45 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Please note that the following schedule is subject to change. The White House is always closed to tours on Sunday and Monday. For the most up-to-date information, call the 24-hour Visitors Office Info Line at:

2002 Calendar

Monday, April 1, 2002
(Monday after Easter)
approximately 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Events take place on the Ellipse and South Lawn. Free, timed tickets required for South Lawn events. No tickets required for the Ellipse.

Easter Egg Roll

Saturday, April 13, 2002, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 14, 2002, from 12 noon - 4 p.m.
The event is open to the public; however, a ticket is required for all attendees. In case of inclement weather, please call the 24-hour Visitors Office Info Line at: 202-456-7041.
