This is historical material, "frozen in time." The web site is no longer updated and links to external web sites and some internal pages will not work.
There have been a lot of changes on the
White House web site recently. Lets take a look at
a
few...
This is where White House and Administration officials
(and friends of the White House) answer citizen emails. Its kind of like a mini-Ask
the White House. Of course, with all of the email we receive, we wont be able
to answer all of the questions. So we will look for questions that are
representative of the many questions which come in.
NCAA Winter Champions visited the White House
earlier this month and our crack team of White House Kid Reporters
interviewed some of the players and a coach.

The First Dog -- Barney -- has his own web site (www.barney.gov).
Check in for daily photos of Barney and other information about America's favorite Scottish Terrier.
Our ace White House Kid Reporter, Spencer,
keeps us up-to-date on the latest developments on the historic Pennsylvania
Avenue construction project. So far, Spencer has interviewed the First Lady
and the foreman of the project. New interviews are posted every two - three weeks.
White House officials and members of the Administration routinely
appear on talk radio shows across the country. Well put as many of
these interviews as we can on the site.
Another great tradition. Go to this page to listen to the President and the Vice
President after they threw out opening pitches in St. Louis and Cincinnati; look at a
photo essay of Presidents and baseball; read the transcript of a recent Ask the White
House with Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan and more...
It has been relaunched. It had gotten outdated, so we
decided to overhaul it. It has a distinctive new look to it and has some new
features as well. We're still working with it. So it is a "work in progress."
