Farmyard in Winter, an 1858 painting by George H. Durrie, graced the 1975 Ford card, which was framed with a red hot foil border. Many of Durries paintings were reproduced by Currier and Ives. In preparation for the United States Bicentennial celebrations, Mrs. Ford chose an Old-fashioned Christmas as the holiday theme.
