Economic and Tax Relief 2001 Timeline


One of the President's top priorities in the past year has been the economy. From the passage of the President's tax relief plan -- resulting in the largest tax cut in 20 years -- to the President's current economic stimulus bill, the President continues to work toward a real, effective economic security package for America's workers.

The timeline below highlights some of the key dates and developments in the President's ongoing commitment to help the economy return more quickly to its growth potential.
