President Bush to Welcome President Ivan Gasparovic of Slovak Republic

White House News

President Bush will welcome President Ivan Gasparovic of the Slovak Republic to the White House on October 9, 2008. A NATO ally, the Slovak Republic is contributing to Alliance efforts to help the people of Afghanistan secure their freedom and prosperity. The Slovak Republic has also been a strong voice in support of an open door to full European integration for the countries of the Western Balkans and Europe's East. The President looks forward to discussing these and other global and regional issues with President Gasparovic.
