Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush announced today that he has named five individuals to serve in his Administration:

The President has named Deb Fiddelke to be Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Ms. Fiddelke recently served as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Prior to this, she served as Associate Director for Congressional Affairs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Policy Advisor to Senator Chuck Hagel and Press Secretary to Congresswoman Deborah Pryce. Ms. Fiddelke received her bachelor's degrees from the University of Nebraska and her master's degree from George Washington University.

The President has named Neal Burnham to be Special Assistant to the President for White House Management. Mr. Burnham previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Department of Commerce. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

The President has named Darren Hipp to be Special Assistant to the President and Director of Presidential Correspondence. Mr. Hipp recently served as Deputy Director of the Office of Presidential Correspondence. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina.

The President has named Gregory Jacob to be Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy. Mr. Jacob recently served as Deputy Solicitor of Labor at the Department of Labor. He received his bachelor's degree from Amherst College and his JD from the University of Chicago.

The President has named Brent J. McIntosh to be Associate Counsel to the President. Mr. McIntosh recently served as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the Department of Justice. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his JD from Yale Law School.
