Grenada Hurricane Victims Continue Their Education in U.S.
Fact of the Day

College students from Grenada are continuing their studies in the United States after Hurricane Ivan wreaked havoc on their country. About 225 students from St. George's University in Grenada will be spending their fall semester at schools such as the New York Institute of Technology, Barry University, Purdue University, and North Carolina State University, while the extensive damages to their own school are repaired. St George's hopes to reopen in the spring, but in the meantime its students are able to continue their educations without interruption.
