STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

On Thursday, April 22, 2004, the President signed into law:

S. 2057, which requires the Secretary of Defense to reimburse service members for certain transportation expenses incurred under the Central command's (CENTCOM) Rest and Recuperation Leave Program between September 25, 2003, and December 18, 2003.
