Statement on H.R. 506 and H.R. 2059
Statement by the Press Secretary

On Friday, March 19, 2004, the President signed into law:

H.R. 506, which designates approximately 4,591 acres near Santa Fe, New Mexico, as the Galisteo Basin Archaeological Protection Site.

H.R. 2059, which designates the Fort Bayard Historic District in the State of New Mexico as a National Historic Landmark.
