Statement on H.R. 2330

On Monday, June 28, 2003, the President signed into law:

H.R. 2330, the "Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act of 2003", which requires sanctions to be imposed against certain Burmese entities, and authorizes support for Burmese democracy activists.
