Global Message

Iraq suffered for over 20 years from Saddam's tyranny, but the foundation for democracy is now being laid, and our military forces will leave as soon as we've accomplished our mission.

Coalition troops are working with Iraqis to maintain order in different cities and make the country more secure.

We have an orderly process to bring stability and food and medicine to the Iraqi people, so life can begin to return to normal.

We are also confident that a government will emerge that represents all Iraqi people and honors the history and traditions of Iraq.
