President Bush to Welcome President of Ecuador
President Lucio Gutierrez of Ecuador to Visit Washington

President Bush will welcome President Lucio Gutierrez of Ecuador to the White House on February 11. The United States is committed to working with Ecuador to promote democracy and open markets, and to fight terrorism and illicit drugs. The President looks forward to a substantive dialogue with President Gutierrez to further strengthen our long-standing ties and establish a constructive agenda on a range of issues of importance to both nations.
