President Bush Announced His Intention to Nominate Three Individuals to Serve as Members of His Administration
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate three individuals to serve as members of his administration:
The President intends to nominate General Mark V. Rosenker of Maryland to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board, for the remainder of a five-year term expiring December 31, 2005. General Rosenker currently serves as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Military Office. A Brigadier General in the Air Force Reserve, General Rosenker began his service in the Air Force in 1969. He is the recipient of the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal and previously served on the American Battle Monuments Commission. General Rosenker earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.
The President intends to nominate Richard Zenos Winget of Nevada to be United States Marshal for the District of Nevada for the term of four years. For almost 30 years, Mr. Winget has served with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he currently holds the position of Undersheriff. He received his Associate of Applied Science degree in Administration of Justice from the Community College of Southern Nevada. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
The President intends to nominate Harlon Eugene Costner of North Carolina to be United States Marshal for the Middle District of North Carolina for a term of four years. Mr. Costner is currently Chief Deputy Sheriff with the Guilford County Sheriff's Department, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Previously, he served as a Fraud Control Manager for Nations Bank/Bank of America. Mr. Costner received his Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, North Carolina.
