Statement by the Press Secretary
Visit of Nigerian President Obasanjo

Nigerian President Obasanjo will come to Washington for a meeting with President Bush on November 2.  President Obasanjo has repeatedly expressed his sympathy and support in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.  The two leaders will discuss the scope and direction of our cooperation in fighting terrorism, as well as other issues of common concern.
