Operation Iraqi Freedom

During patrols assessments are conducted and recorded that will help improve the quality of life for the citizens; patrols also deter the enemy. The 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
