Trip to Eastern Europe and Russia Photo Essay
Laura Bush and Meda Mladek look over the rushing waters of the Vlatva River from an exhibit in Mladek's museum in Prague Thursday, November 21, 2002.The museum, known as the Kampa Museum, was severly damaged by flooding in August. The collection features artists who worked under the Soviet occupied government. A special exhibit on Sept. 11, 2001, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, was on display in the flood-ravaged rooms of the museum.
