| President Nicolas Sarkozy of France listens to a reporter's question Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, during a joint press availability with President George W. Bush at the Mount Vernon Estate in Mount Vernon, Va. President Sarkozy told President Bush, "I get the distinct sense that it is France that has been welcomed so warmly, with so much friendship, so much love... So when I say that the French people love the American people, that is the truth and nothing but the truth."
