Vice President Cheney recounts his early days in politics during an address to a joint session of the Wyoming State Legislature in Cheyenne, Friday, February 17, 2006. “I would not be where I am today were it not for the friendship and the confidence of people all across this state,” the Vice President said. “It's always good to be home. And this morning, as an officeholder -- and, more than that, as a citizen of Wyoming -- I count it a high honor to be in such distinguished company.”
