EVENT BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Lynne Cheney, author and wife of Vice President Dick Cheney, will talk to 80 third-grade students from Ashurst and Russell Elementary Schools on the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA. Mrs. Cheney will visit with students, all children of military families, about the importance of knowing America's history and learning about the stories of America's heroes and heroines of the past.
