Sara Armstrong
Former Director of the White House Visitors Office
Sara Armstrong served President George W. Bush as Director of the White House Visitors Office. Her main responsibility was White House tours, but duties extend beyond daily tours to include coordination of the White House Easter Egg Roll, Holiday Open Houses, Spring and Fall Garden tours, State Arrival Ceremonies and other special events.
Before joining the Visitors Office, Sara served Mrs. Bush as Deputy Director of Correspondence. She joined the Bush Administration in 2002 after working in the private sector.
Sara earned her Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from the University of South Carolina. She and her husband David reside in Alexandria, VA.
