Mrs. Laura Bush accepts the 2008 Robert S. Folsom Leadership Award, presented by the Methodist Health System Foundation, Thursday, April 10, 2008, during an awards dinner at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. In accepting the award, named after former Dallas Mayor Robert S. Folsom and which recognizes individuals who have demonstrated commitment and excellence in community leadership, Mrs. Bush said, "For more than 80 years, Methodist Health System has been an essential part of the Dallas community, and its good work reflects the faith-based principles of life, learning and compassion on which it was founded.
