Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today named five individuals to serve in his Administration.
The President has named Christopher Michel to be Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Speechwriting. Mr. Michel recently served as Special Assistant to the President for Speechwriting. He received his bachelor's degree from Yale University.
The President has named Sara Armstrong to be Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff to the First Lady. Ms. Armstrong previously served as Director of the White House Visitors Office. She received her bachelors degree and masters degree from the University of South Carolina.
The President has named Meghan Clyne to be Special Assistant to the President for Speechwriting. Ms. Clyne recently served as Speechwriter to the First Lady at the White House. She received her bachelor's degree from Yale University.
The President has named Matthew Latimer to be Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Speechwriting. Mr. Latimer recently served as Special Assistant to the President for Speechwriting and previously served as Director of Speechwriting in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, his master's degree from Columbia University and his JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
The President has named Mark J. Webber to be Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for South and Central Asian Affairs in the National Security Council. Mr. Webber recently served as Special Advisor to the Vice President for National Security Affairs. He received his bachelor's degree and master's degrees from American University. He received his JD from the George Washington University Law School.
