Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate three individuals and that he has nominated six individuals to serve in his Administration.
The President has nominated the following individuals to be Members of the National Council on the Humanities:
Jamsheed K. Choksy, of Indiana, for a six-year term beginning 01/27/08;
Dawn Ho Delbanco, of New York, for a six-year term beginning 01/27/08;
Gary D. Glenn, of Illinois, for a six-year term beginning 01/27/08;
David Hertz, of Indiana, for a six-year term beginning 01/27/08;
Marvin Bailey Scott, of Indiana, for the remainder of a six-year term
expiring 01/26/10;
Carol M. Swain, of Tennessee, for a six-year term beginning 01/27/08.
The President intends to nominate the following individuals to be Members of the National Museum and Library Services Board for five-year terms beginning 12/07/07:
Jan Cellucci, of Massachusetts, (Library);
William J. Hagenah, of Illinois, (Museum);
Mark Y. Herring, of South Carolina, (Library).
