Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today nominated one individual to serve in his Administration.

The President nominated Larry Woodrow Walther, of Arkansas, to be Director of the Trade and Development Agency. Mr. Walther previously served as the Director of the Department of Economic Development for the State of Arkansas. Prior to this, he served as Public Affairs Consultant at Public Strategies, Inc. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President for Corporate Services and Chairman of the SBC Foundation. Mr. Walther received his bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
