Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate two individuals and designate two individuals to serve in his Administration.
The President intends to nominate Robin Renee Sanders, of New York, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ms. Sanders, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, currently serves as International Affairs Advisor and Deputy Commandant at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University. Prior to this, she served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of the Congo. Earlier in her career, she served as a Director for African Affairs at the National Security Council. Ms. Sanders received her bachelor's degree from Hampton University and her master's degrees from Ohio University.
The President intends to nominate Diane D. Rath, of Texas, to be Assistant Secretary for Family Support at the Department of Health and Human Services. Ms. Rath currently serves as Chair and Commissioner of the Texas Workforce Commission. Prior to this, she served as Senior Director of Public Affairs for Kinetic Concepts, Inc. Earlier in her career, she served as Managing Director of the Sports Medicine Rehabilitation Clinic. Ms. Rath received her bachelor's degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch.
The President intends to designate the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation:
Reuben Jeffery III, of the District of Columbia, (Department of State Representative)
Howard Radzely, of Maryland, (Department of Labor Representative)
