Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate two individuals to serve in his Administration.

The President intends to nominate Stuart Ishimaru, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, for a five-year term expiring 07/01/12. Mr. Ishimaru currently serves as a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice. Earlier in his career, he served as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General (Civil Rights). Mr. Ishimaru received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his JD from George Washington University.

The President intends to nominate Daniel D. Heath, of New Hampshire, to be United States Alternate Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund, for a term of two years. Mr. Heath most recently served as Associate Director of the National Economic Council at the White House. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Economist at the Office of Management and Budget. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Economic Studies at Oxford Analytica. Mr. Heath received his bachelor's degree from The George Washington University and his master's degree from Oxford University.
