Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve in his Administration.

The President intends to nominate Jim Nussle, of Iowa, to serve as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Mr. Nussle served as a Member of the United States House of Representatives from 1991 until 2007. While in Congress, Mr. Nussle served six years as the Chairman of the House Budget Committee. Earlier in his career, he served as County Attorney for Delaware County, Iowa. Mr. Nussle received his bachelor's degree from Luther College and his JD from Drake University.
