President Bush to Welcome President Elias Antonio Saca of the Republic of El Salvador

President Bush will welcome President Elias Antonio Saca of the Republic of El Salvador to the White House on February 27, 2007. El Salvador is a close friend of the United States and a strong partner in the War on Terror and the international coalition supporting peace and freedom for the Iraqi people. The President looks forward to discussing a range of issues with President Saca, including our common commitment to strengthening democracy and economic development and our joint effort to address the problem of criminal gangs. President Bush also will consult with President Saca on recent regional developments.
