President Bush to Welcome President Martin Torrijos of the Republic of Panama
President Bush will welcome President Martin Torrijos of the Republic of Panama to the White House on February 16, 2007. The President looks forward to discussing a range of issues with President Torrijos, including our common commitment to the expansion of free trade, strengthening democracy and economic development throughout the region, enhancing security cooperation, and the upcoming expansion of the Panama Canal. This visit underscores the strong and deep friendship and cooperation between the United States and Panama.
