President Bush Welcomes President Kufuor of Ghana to the White House
After meeting in the Oval Office,President George W. Bush and President John Kufuor of Ghana shake hands during a joint statement to the press on the South Lawn Wednesday, April 12, 2006. "We just had a wonderful discussion about our bilateral relations, and a great discussion about the world. I really enjoy talking to a man of vision and strength and character. President Kufuor has done a fantastic job for Ghana," said President Bush. "He's told the people of his country he'd bring honesty to government, and he has. He told the people of his country that he would work to create a stable economic platform for -- and he has done that, as well. And he's a man of peace. He cares deeply about peace in the region."
