Centers Benefit Afghan Women
Fact of the Day

New resource centers will help support Afghan women. Across Afghanistan, 17 women's centers will provide a place for women to receive training in health, job skills, leadership, legal awareness and political participation. Women executives of AOL (Time Warner), through the U.S.-Afghan Women's Council, donated $60,000 for the construction of a resource center in Parwan. A total of six centers will soon be completed.
