Center for Mentally Handicapped Opens in Tunisia

A new school for those with mental disabilities opened Feb. 1 in Sidi Bou Ali, Tunisia. The Social Assistance Center for Mentally Handicapped Children is improving education in Tunisia. It is also helping to create new awareness among average Tunisians about mentally handicapped children. The school was built by the Tunisian National Association to Assist the Mentally Handicapped with funds from the American Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance Program.
