Mrs. Bush's Remarks to the American College of Cardiology Presidential Plenary Session
Laura Bush visits the Red Dress Project Exhibit and delivers remarks to the media after accepting the 2004 Colleges of Cardiology's Honorary Fellowship in New Orleans, Louisiana. " If we can encourage women to take charge of their health and the health of their families, we can do the same for heart disease. With the many risk factors for heart disease, a woman's greatest risk is ignorance. So I encourage all of you to pull out your favorite red tie or red dress and tell every woman and physician that you know that heart disease doesn't care what you wear." Monday, March 8, 2004.
