Statement by the Press Secretary

STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY

President Bush will welcome President Joseph Kabila of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the White House on Wednesday, November 5, 2003. President Bush looks forward to discussing issues affecting the common interests of the United States and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly the successes of President Kabila's transition government, regional stability, emergency relief, trade and development, HIV/AIDS, and the global war on terrorism.
