Centimeter Worm
  • A 24-volume encyclopedia set of books is sitting on a bookshelf in order from left to right. Each book is the same thickness. The front and back covers of the books are each 0.75 cm thick. The page section inside each book spans exactly 3.25 cm. If a cute centimeter bookworm starts eating at page 1 of volume one and eats, in a straight line, to the last page of volume 24, exactly how far will the worm travel?
