Healthier US, June 20, 2002
President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush announce the Healthier US initiative on the South Lawn of the White House June 20. As part of the initiative, President Bush signed two executive orders and named Football Hall of Famer Lynn Swann as Chair and Olympic Gold Medalist in Softball Dot Richardson as Vice Chair to the President's Council on Physical Fitness.
