Description: The grant scope includes: 1) Conducting the community outreach process to notify landowners, interested citizens and governing bodies about the preferred line extension route from Point Woronzof to Fire Island; 2) Initiate the permitting strategy developed during the project feasibility assessment and prepare an Environmental Assessment in accordance with the NEPA requirements; 3) Develop construction-ready specifications and procurement documents of major electrical components including the submarine cable and substation transformer.
