Description: This award supplements an existing award and represents the third and final year of funding NOAA will provide to South Carolina to complete its acquisition of the "Bonneau Ferry" property in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The 10,700 acre property is being purchased in three pieces. Acquisition of this property will preserve forests, ponds, rice fields, as well as over 10 miles of frontage on the Cooper River.
