Supporting planning, decision making and analysis of the need for and value of nuclear thermal propulsion including support of planning. 2. Support requirements development and identification of technology investment needs. 3. Identify and mature critical non-nuclear technologies to increase opportunities and reduce risks of potential, follow-on development projects. 4. Identify and develop long lead capabilities for potential follow-on development activities.
