Citation Excerpt: The conference agreement provides $37,526,000 for land acquisition instead of $12,500,000 as proposed by the House and $49,864,000 as proposed by the Senate. The managers agree to the following distribution of funds: Further Conference Report Language: "Acquisitions proposed in the budget requests for the Alaska Peninsula NWR (AK), Canaan Valley NWR (WV), Cypress Creek NWR (IL), and Red River NWR (LA) shall be funded out of the inholdings account." Note: The President's Budget request included $121,000 for Alaska Peninsula and $127,000 for Cypress Creek. The request did not include any funding for Canaan Valley or Red River.
