Description: In FY03-05 funds were passed through to the State of Washington for Regional Salmon Enhancement Groups to implement salmon enhancement projects, including fish production and habitat restoration. The funds support 14 community based volunteer groups working on local salmon recovery efforts and habitat restoration. The non-profit salmon groups enhance salmon resources, maximize volunteer efforts and private donations, and develop and implement projects to help the State of Washington increase salmon production.
