Little River Canyon Field School

Year Enacted: 2005
Description: The project consists of a design and construcstion phase for the Little River Canyon Field School facility. A focus of the Center will include the study of our global climate and the impact of these issues on 'every day' life. The Field School would draw heavily upon the scientific research performed at NASA's Global Hydrology and Climate Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The Field School would present this complex and critically important research in a way that is understandable to K-12 students and the general public. Management of the LRCFS construction project will be conducted within the existing framework at Jacksonville State University.
