Description: The purpose of this research is to enhance the understanding of the fundamental mechanisms underlying brain processing, neurophysiological function, and cognition. This research will contribute to developing a more complete understanding concerning unique parameters of sleep restriction and cognitive performance. This research will contribute to meeting fundamental health care goals on earth, and will contribute to maximizing human health and performance in the extraordinary environments encountered in space.
