Description: The project is entitled Strengthening Families All Across America. Its purpose is to help build and support well functioning families through the services of Parents Anonymous (PA) Programs. The goal is to prevent and reduces child abuse and juvenile delinquency. The project's proposed activities include increasing the number of Parents Anonymous Programs nationwide, and collaboration with other entities with regard to program implementation and evaluation. Emphasis will be on assisting underprivileged and underserved families. The core principles of PA include shared leadership and mutual support (PA programs operate through collaboration between professional staff and parent leaders).
