Description: The goal of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges┐ (NCJFCJ) Permanent Families for Abused and Neglected Children: A National Training and Technical Assistance Project ┐ 2005-2006 is to provide national training and technical assistance to strengthen and support better practice and improved outcomes for abused and neglected children. The NCJFCJ┐s Permanency Planning for Children Department (PPCD) will deliver judicial and interdisciplinary training to national, state, regional, and local participants through a variety of national permanency planning training curricula. Judges and other system professionals will receive cutting-edge information on how to improve judicial and system handling of child abuse and neglect cases and benefit the children and families involved in these proceedings.
