Description: The goal of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges¿ (NCJFCJ) Permanent Families for Abused and Neglected Children: A National Training and Technical Assistance Project ¿ 2005-2006 is to provide national training and technical assistance to strengthen and support better practice and improved outcomes for abused and neglected children. The NCJFCJ¿s Permanency Planning for Children Department (PPCD) will deliver judicial and interdisciplinary training to national, state, regional, and local participants through a variety of national permanency planning training curricula. Judges and other system professionals will receive cutting-edge information on how to improve judicial and system handling of child abuse and neglect cases and benefit the children and families involved in these proceedings.
