Description: The Child Advocacy Centers of Louisiana (CACLA) will distribute these funds to member child advocacy center (CAC) programs across the state of Louisiana for the purpose of achieving the following goals: 1) sustain and increase the number of children interviewed at CACs; 2) increase support services for child victims who are interviewed at CAC, as well as their non-offending family members or caregivers; and 3) increase coordination of multidisciplinary teams. This project will increase the number of interviews conducted at CACs and boost the participation of professionals involved with the investigation of child abuse, thereby ensuring that child victims¿ needs are met, and that the protective and legal interventions progress effectively. This project will track the number of interviews performed, the number of multi-disciplinary team meetings held, and the number of support services provided to child victims and their families.
