Description: International Youth Service and Development Corps Inc. will implement the Friends mentoring program to 80 at risk youth in Ward 7 and Ward 8 in Washington DC. The overall goals of the program are to improve the student's attendance, reduce suspensions and increase the student's grade point average. International Youth Service and Development Corps will work with the parents to support the mentoring effort. The performance measures of improved grades, improved attendance and reduced suspensions will be reported to OJJDP.
